The Service Centre has leading mechanics that provide expert car service and repairs to Maitland & Thornton and its surroundings.

The Service Centre are a group of mechanical workshops with a focus on providing quality car servicing & maintenance to the people of Newcastle & the Hunter Valley areas.

They have over 50+ years of experience in the car servicing space and  a team of expert car mechanics.

The Challenge

The key challenge identified for the campaign was the competitive mechanic market in Maitland, Thornton, and the broader Newcastle region, as well as taking over a previously underperforming account.

The Strategy

To drive lead generation for The Service Centre, we used a combination of Google Ads products. Firstly, we started with a Performance Max campaign which was used to optimise the lead generation campaign. It uses machine learning to optimise ad delivery and bidding in real-time, with the goal of maximising conversion value. This allowed for the automatic adjustment of bids and targeting based on the likelihood of a lead conversion.

Search campaigns were used to target specific keywords related to the Service Centre's services. This helped us to reach potential customers who are actively searching for the services offered by The Service Centre.

Display ads were used to reach a broader audience and increase brand awareness for their two mechanic shops. These ads are typically image or video based and appear on websites across the internet. They allowed us to target a specific demographic and geographic area.

We monitored the campaign closely, making adjustments to targeting and bid strategies as needed to optimise performance and ensure that the campaign was meeting the Service Centre's lead generation goals.

The Outcome

We used prior account learnings to put together a comprehensive ad account framework with several campaigns to specifically target the key opportunities in the market between Newcastle, Maitland and Thornton. This account framework helped to guide the discovery of detailed targeted keywords and ads that resonate with The Service Centre's audience right from when we set the account live. 

The improvements in the Google ads account from Nov 2021 - July 2022 since our management is outstanding! We have seen a 1,060% increase in website visits from qualified customers, 3,300% increase in conversions with a superb 300% increase in Conversion Rate.
